Hotels and resorts

There are a number of hotels and resorts in Maldives catering to tourists from different backgrounds with varying budgets. The oldest resorts were for the high end tourists and cost more than $500 per night. Upscale resorts like Four Seasons can cost $800- 1000 and luxury suites may charge $2000.

For budget travelers, basic lodging facilities are available in the capital for $50-80 / day and  low end resorts may charge less than $100. Some tour operators offer all inclusive packages which include sight seeing and accommodation in hotels.
